Engineer gone Yogi. That's me. Did you know I have a Civil Engineering degree and worked as a Project Engineer for commercial construction projects during and out of college? Yup. I'm an Engineer gone Yogi!
My experience in construction management left me unfulfilled, frustrated and burnt out. I knew it wasn't the path for me for the long term, even though had I excelled in math and science and had a degree in engineering.
I left the field in an effort to find happiness. I worked retail, became a florist, had two kids. I was becoming happier and more fulfilled with each step. It felt amazing.
Then I found yoga again, after years of only using yoga as a physical practice. It was healing, relaxing, confidence building, welcoming. I loved having yoga as a part of my life.
Then I felt a calling to share yoga with my kids, and others, and got trained, and started having a blast sharing yoga with this future generation. I never expected myself to continue on this path further. Then I did. Engineer gone Yogi gone full out Yoga Teacher.
Engineer gone Yogi. And all it took was listening to my heart, following those little calls toward something else, and being able to count on my amazing support system to help me make it all happen.
yoga, food, family, and travel. these are what drive my life! as a stay at home mom of 2 little girls with an active yoga practice. i longed to find the perfect yoga class for my own children. i felt a calling to a kids yoga teacher training in early November, 2017 and answered the call. in 2018, i felt called towards a greater mission. teaching teens & adults. today, i am living my dream.
