If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change. So much growth in my life came once I realized this.
Instead of looking at what I didn't have, I gave gratitude for what I did. Instead of glass half empty, I saw that glass as half full. Instead of viewing others as competition, I saw them as sharing the same goals to improve the world, where we can work together to build a bigger force. Life doesn't always feel easy, and it isn't. Feel your feelings, experience them, learn from them, but remember at times to check yourself, if you feel your feelings are still serving you. See if you can change your perspective to help yourself if they aren't.
Now, let's take this further. Let's change the way we look at things beyond ourselves, so that we can better help others. Instead of thinking we know everything, realize we don't. This is where growth can occur. Checking our privilege and opening our eyes and ears to learn how others might experience or perceive things differently. Change your perspective. Turn your perspective upside down. Learn. Grow. Change.
